I recently bought a Taschen book on Polaroids. It was a great reminder about the greatness that an imperfect polaroid can be.
For the longest time I have read how creative and important it is to carry a camera 24/7. I’ve thought about it many times but always fall back to the lazy 2017 version of that and pull out my iPhone.
We sold our house! This marks an end of an era. This house could be considered Studio Espinoza 4.0 and with each new studio space I learn and create a space that works better than the last.
Every once in a while I submit photos to fashion blogs or magazines and every once in a while they take me up on my offer and post the images.
I love shooting film. More specifically I love the quality, tones and softness of the medium format images from my Mamiya RZ67. That love has driven me to shoot more and more film on various different cameras. Shooting film is exciting and novel but more important it’s expensive.
Call it what you will; test shoots, trade, TFP, TFCD, barter, working for free…. I will always make time to shoot personal work.
