I recently bought a Taschen book on Polaroids. It was a great reminder about the greatness that an imperfect polaroid can be.
With the advent of Instagram I am inundated daily with ideas and inspiration. Sometimes it smothers me and I feel like my work is less-than. Other times that inspiration feels uplifting and makes me want to go out and shoot.
For the longest time I have read how creative and important it is to carry a camera 24/7. I’ve thought about it many times but always fall back to the lazy 2017 version of that and pull out my iPhone.
I’m in the midst of switching photography consultants and I interviewed two consultants over the past couple weeks to see who is a better fit. During the calls the goal was to fill them in on my marketing efforts, my photography and get their thoughts on the direction of both.
